Here’s to all those who voted “YES” for the Too Faced review:
First off, here’s a photo of these babies!
I wasn’t sure what to expect because this was my first Too Faced purchase. What kept me from making the purchase was the high price point and also my uncertainty of its quality.
But when the Singaporean influencers such as Xiaxue, Sophie Willocq and Mongabong were selling off their PR kits from media, I bugged my sister for a week to fight the crowds for me. At the sale, she managed to get the Just Peachy mattes palette for SGD30 and the limited edition unicorn highlighter and bronzer at SGD20 which is a complete steal as the eyeshadow palette alone retails for RM180+ in Sephora Malaysia (online) where it isn’t even available in Kuching yet.
Let’s get down to it:

Verdict:
Texture: It’s not as creamy as i’m used to with my Colourpop eyeshadow palettes
Pigmentation: Colour pay off is quite good
Fall Out: Minimal
Packaging: Excellent. Much better than what i’m used to.
Scent: Every time I open these products, I feel like i’m in a candy store. But not in an overly sickening way. The smell fades quickly and doesn’t linger.
Comments:
The eyeshadow palette is great. I was initially skeptical after feeling the texture but it has great payoff on the eyes and is a joy to use.
The bronzer is excellent. I have absolutely no complains. Great texture, great payoff. However, I cannot say the same about the highlighter. I love the colour of the glitter flecks in them because I really do feel like a unicorn but the glitter flecks are way too big for my liking. I just prefer something a lot finer and refined, more like a shimmer or a glow. These huge specs of glitter would be great if you were going all out for a costume party or something though. I would still use it on days where i’m feeling a little extra.
Honestly, i’m a sucker for packaging and I just cannot get enough of the Bronzer packaging. Just holding it in my hands makes me happy 🙂
